Black History Month!

Hello everyone, we at Picán thank you for your patronage of our Black History Month celebration It was my hope the items I’ve chosen to run as specials would spark old memories of your mom or dad’s home cooking. Because the Braised Oxtails Potjies were so well received (week 1 of our celebration), you can look forward to that dish on our regular dinner menu in upcoming weeks.
Next Wednesday, Week 3 of BHM here at Picán, we are showcasing two more BHM specials – Smoked Beef Brisket Meat Loaf with BBQ Molasses Glaze and roasted garlic mashed potatoes, and one of my favorites… Smoked Neck Bones with salted pork collard greens and wild rice.
Currently, we’re offering Southern Chicken Fried Steak with mashed spuds and creamy Andouille gravy and Smoked Ham Hocks on spicy red beans and Carolina rice (Week 2).
